WOYWW 710 Crochet organiser

Hi all,
I made my crochet hook organiser quickly, without the instructions as I mislaid them till I’d finished.

It has transformed my desk from this:
To this:
I’m very pleased with it, and have ordered some little tins to better organise the pins and jump rings on the shelf.
Bella and Gracie much appreciate that Dreamies are still part of the organised desk!

I’ve just got to weave the ends in on B’s slipover so that will be ready to show you next week.
I’ve become interested in a new yarn, Louisa Harding’s Pittura in the shade Frida Kahlo. It’s sadly discontinued but I’ve found some on eBay.

It’s better in herringbone stitch (upper half) rather than half trebles.
And finally…

Take care and happy WOYWW
Hugs

  2. Well, what an asset those new drawers are going to be, keeping everything tidy but still to hand, including the Dreamies, lol! I couldn’t do without my set of drawers that are really for screws, nuts and bolts etc but are perfect for buttons, threads etc etc! Love that new yarn, so your colours, it looks as if it has a nice sheen to it.
The pirate funny made me hoot!

  5. Oh I do love Pittura. Got a load from my local shop when it was closing down, and began a shawl. about 1/2 done and I put it aside to knit my puff blanket and not gotten back to it. One thing WOYWW is great for - reminding me of abandoned projects!! That cat! Those TEETH! LOL! Always a smile to be had here.
    HAPPY WOYWW!

  12. Oh that sort of sums up life doesn’t it..having to put something together and finding the instructions once you’ve finished! It looks grand, who knew you had so many hooks! I agree about the stitches in the FK yarn, what a great name for the colour too, immediately attracted me!
