Gracie is showing her appreciation of the new blanket. They both send purrs to you all.
At my drawing class last week our tutor had us drawing our hands with Biros. It’s surprising how much tone gradation you can get with one.
That pile of squares is growing Lynne - love the colours. Meow to the kitties. Loved the funny about spoiled children. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #5

Gracie looks to have taken command of that chevron blanket, she seems to be rolled in it.

Life the pile of squares. The biro drawing is great ! Thanks fir visiting, was determined not to let a bit of rain spoil Kew! Helen #4
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours in that pile of squares! I do love making them as they’re so quick to do. Your drawing is really good, how interesting that you did it in biro, a very different technique but it works well! The ghost with pockets made me laugh, I don’t buy many clothes these days but ensure that the ones I do have pockets!!

ReplyDeleteFrom Julia Dunnit:
ReplyDeleteHow very satisfying to have a growing pile to look at on the blocking board, that visual of achievement is a really great motivator for me! Lovely colours too. And oh my, your hand drawing is ace! Using any permanent ink is a bit scary too, I think your tutor has the right idea to break you of all the myths and difficulties ass you go!
ooh lovely pile growing nicely and your biro drawing is really good, amazed that its just in biro.
ReplyDeleteThe ghost cartoon made me smile, I LOVE a dress with pockets :-)
Thanks for visiting my desk already
