I hope you’re all well. As it was half-term last week I had no watercolour class so I had time to finish my hare.
This week I have two watercolour classes as there’s a summer school in the next village which starts today (a very timely birthday present) and my usual Thursday class.
I’ve also finished the boho bag for my goddaughter. Brian said it looks a good bag for strolling along the front in St Tropez!
This one’s 2x9 4” squares.
It has a pocket on the inside for phone/ purse etc and is lined with a plain canvas tote.
I’m making a similar one for myself now, but with 4 x 6” squares per side.
Bella send purrs to you all
And finally…
Take care and happy WOYWW
Hugs

ReplyDeleteThe hare turned out fab, and the bag is a stunna! I was always telling the kids to pipe down in the car so I could focus but somehow my own music blasing out the speakers was no problem at all...

First of all Happy Birthday dear lady. Guess what happened on my FB notifications? Today they sent me a note saying they thought I would enjoy reading ... your book! How spooky that it should happen on your special day.
ReplyDeleteLove the hare, you have done a super job with that twig and feather and the boho bag is gorgeous. Can see you swinging yours on your local promenade - can pretend it is San Tropez.
Have a wonderful day.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful watercolour and bag... that's a nice square you're making for yourself too, Lynne, well done. Everything old is new again. I remember themselves from the 70s, or 60s??.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, and may God bless you and keep you and all whom you love safe and well for 2024!
