WOYWW 827 Crochet

Hi all, I’m back for our weekly blog hop care of Sarahscraftshed   Thanks for your good wishes last week.  My lungs are improving but I’m now in the doldrums that reducing respiratory steroids dumps me in. Hey ho! It’s been 2 years since I had one and at least I avoided hospital this time.
I’ve two crochet projects on the go, a circle cardigan for my goddaughter and another pink and gold cardi for her elder daughter, supervised closely by Bella, who sends you all purrs.
I started doing this one with random colour changes but it was too messy. This shows the pattern, which is literally a big circle.

V. really loved the little waistcoat with a gold pattern on the pocket so I’ll add similar extras to this long sleeved cardi. .
And finally…..

Take care all, and happy WOYWW,
Hugs
Lynnecrafts xx

  3. Hi Lynne, pleased you're picking up. The thought about unplugging the United States sounds like a good plan to me too. Happy woyww, Angela x9x

  4. I know WHO wants unplugging! Now got a mental picture of him flying off, arms flailing, into the ether (perhaps his mate following him) and the plug dangling from the flex.
Sorry, it got me when I saw that funny.
Glad to hear you are making some progress with the chest infection but sorry to hear what the medicine does to you. Hope you start to pick up soon.
Hadn't a clue what the circle cardigan would look like so enlarged the picture and wow, what a great idea!

  5. Great funnies! On the news they were talking about a world recession because of Trump. I was puzzled by the circular cardigan till I copied Neet and zoomed in. It looks lovely. Glad to hear you are on the mend. Happy WOYWW. Angela #13

  6. I'm glad you are feeling better. I too have breathing problems☹️ I'm looking into breathing exercises to help with lung capacity. Your circle sweater is so cool! I love it! Love the funnies, it would be nice if fixing the US was that easy! Have a great week, keep feeling better, Lindart #17

  7. So glad you are feeling better- it seems to take longer to recover as we get older but as long as we get there then that's ok. Your crochet is lovely. I just wish I was better at it. x x Jo 🌈

  8. Ah the truest funny, yikes 🤪 glad to read that you’re on the improvement trail, at least you recognise the doldrums Lynne, I think knowing is a great help in climbing up when the strength becomes you. A circular cardi huh, well I never. I’d look like a blimp in it, but I live the idea, and I agree with you about not having g random changes of colour . Hark at me, it’s an age since I last crocheted!

  9. Oh the unplugging the US board got me giggling - super crochet and glad you are back with us and recovering. Had a quick look at the Escoda travel brushes and they are mighty expensive and fortunately too long - phew. I think I will cut down a couple of my Ikea kids brushes. Not that I do much traveling though, just fancied the tin as a paint box. Hugs BJ#12

  10. Ha ha. If only it was as easy as a quick plug-yank to put it all right. Sadly that will not be the case. Loving the circle cardi - looks lots of fun and the colours in rings is much better.
Poppy relapsed so very very late!
