WOYWW 828 Crochet

Hi all,
I’m back for our weekly bloghop courtesy of Sarah’s Craftshed. Thanks for all your good wishes.
Still a slow road to recovery but at least I avoided a hospital stay this time.
No energy for watercolour or sketching yet (the respiratory steroids really knock me out) but my crochet hand still works.
I’ve made a twiddle lap blanket for my aunt:
There are peonies which my grandfather used to grow, a cheeky dog on the left, a cat on the right and the teddy she bought me for my first Xmas in the middle.
I’m sending some cannula sleeves to the hospice as well.
I’m also working on my  goddaughter's round cardigan.
All under Bella’s expert supervision, of course.
She was looking especially cute this morning:
And finally,

I love this one, and my arms automatically go to and fro like the Wooden Tops…

Take care all and happy WOYWW
hugs

  3. I’m glad that you’re getting there slowly and relieved that you avoided hospital as well. You’ve been putting the hours into all that crochet, your aunt and the hospice will love the cushion and twiddlers! The funnies were excellent, I loved the cartoon of the kids, completely understand the crazy logic of knitting/crocheting faster in order that the yarn doesn’t run out!

  4. Oh both Bella and the cardi are looking great. Glad you are feeling more yourself. The twiddle and sleeves are so colourful. They will be appreciated I'm sure. I was feeling meh about knitting but ass it was quite cold overnight I feel like it again. Lucky as today is our first knitting day since the Yorkshire Bag departed.
Dashing around pre-knitting but Happy WOYWW!

  9. The bug that so many folks have had has been nasty. I'm glad you are on the mend. Your twiddle blanket is so lovely. What a great idea and full of so many little memory prompts - well done on the sleeves too. They will be useful and appreciated.x x Jo 🌈

  10. Nice to hear you are on the mend, I do pop in everyweek even if I don't comment, can't always as blogger does odd things! As always, loving the funnies and your fabulous twiggle blankets, they are just brilliant!

  11. Great work on all your projects! I love the blanket for your Aunt. The comics are fun, but I would add one piece of the pie on that roulette wheel called "throw up on the bed in the middle of the night". Yep, that's what Inky did last night! Poor Inky😿 But she's OK. And yes, the cats on my blog are digital images! Have a lovely Easter🐰🐣❤️Lindart #15
