Hi all, wasn’t it fun last week to celebrate the 12th anniversary of WOYWW?
I received some lovely ATCs, from Wipso and Twiglet, Neet and from Diana Taylor, as well as those I showed last week, and those still on their way.
Annie sent me a lovely poem as well.
I thoroughly enjoyed sending out my own, too, designing my silk anniversary ATC and putting charms in my origami boxes.
Even in Folkestone, the choice of postcards was poor so I printed a couple of views. I included the Channel Tunnel as that’s what brought us down here. I worked in the Railway Control Centre from 1991.
I can’t show you what I’m working on yet, but here’s part of it. Any ideas?
I’m still doing my slow stitch, my linen stitch panel.
Thea sends miaows and “mrrps” to all your cats.
And finally....
I always loved Groucho MarxStay safe, happy WOYWW and keep crafting!
Hugs Lynnecrafts
That Groucho Marx quote made me laugh out loud Lynne. Love your haul of ATCs. No clue what the sneak peek might be I'm afraid though. Happy WOYWW. Stay safe. Sarah #2
ReplyDeletegreat atcs, and I love the funnies! I agree, the Groucho Marx one is really good! Helen #4
ReplyDeleteLovely atc's and I must thank you for the one you sent to me, especially the little charms which are safely tucked away now so they do not get lost - residing in my treasure box.
ReplyDeleteI have not a clue what you are making - not a clue! Hope we soon find out.
Hugs, Neet xx 1
You got some amazing ATCs. There are some really talented deskers. I enjoyed seeing them. I enjoyed the Groucho funny and the baby carrots, too. At first I thought it was a fuzzy spider, but realized it must be yarn instead. Happy WOYWW from # 3.
ReplyDeleteGroucho Marx was a genius and I laughed out loud at that quote! You had some beautiful ATCs, how lovely, thank you for you beautiful one as well and especially the little charm, I’m working out how to incorporate that into a collage piece for the JanCave xx. Love the colours in that linen stitch work, they;re so you, but I have no idea what the dark yarn is for!!
ReplyDeleteHugs LLJ 10 xx
Morning Lynne, thank you so much for my beautiful ATC, the origami envelope on the front is absolutely enchanting and I love the little Pegasus charm - I am thinking of how to incorporate it into some jewellery.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours in your slow stitch panel, but I'm afraid I have no idea what your knitting might be, although you definitely have enough legs for an octopus!
Have a great week,
Diana xx #25
Baby carrots LOL! Super ATCs and I'm so glad you're showing Annie's cute poem - I forgot to take a photo of it! That's something you two seem to have in common - a penchant for rhymes! Thea looks cushy - how do cats always manage to look so comfortable? Happy #625 xx zsuzsa #26
ReplyDeleteLol - very funny!! Thanks lots for your ATC package Lynn - just lovely to unwrap and discover what was inside. And what beauties you have on your desk - so many lovely little works of art there. xx Jo
ReplyDeleteGreat funnies:). You have received some beautiful ATC’s. Did you knit/crochet a chain to make a shawl? Happy WOYWW Angela #12
ReplyDeleteLovely cards! and Ha ha! Robyn 29
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question on my blog about the second on the 2nd. No, it has nothing to do with the vaccine. I had the J & J in early April and have been clear since my birthday, April 22.
ReplyDeleteWhat I was referring to was a LINK UP PARTY on the 2nd of every month. The only rule is, it MUST have been published sometime previously. In other words, you are bringing back a post you want to share a second time. I hope that helps. It's on my right sidebar. Thanks for asking.
Lovely collection of ATCs, Lynne, and great crochet as always - I haven't a clue what you are making but it looks a bit like something Indiana Jones might have encountered on one of his archaeological adventures!! Sweet picture of Thea. Great funnies as always. I love the Marx Brothers too - have you read Harpo Marx's autobiography - "Harpo Speaks"? It's one of the funniest books I've ever read! As for the flashing one, it reminds me of a Jewish joke they had on Columbo once - a flasher flashed at a Jewish tailor, who said "Call that a lining??!!" Lol! Thank you for your visit, which I'm so glad you enjoyed. The cartoon certainly did cause some amusement and giggles - I hope they put it up so that people can see it!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,

ReplyDeleteHi Lynne! I received your ATC today and it is beautiful! I loved the surprise charm inside. Too cute. Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #8
ReplyDeleteLovely ATCs, it looks like received a great collection too.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun. Mr Dunnit was marvelling over the tiny origami last night Lynne, he’s right when he said that you’re very patient, and accurate. I took it to man that he doesn’t expect me to be trying it anytime!! Loving the linen look, and abs no idea what you’re working on unless you’re creating pretend dreadlocks?!!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful ATC's and Annie's poem is really lovely. I hope you have a brilliant week - Cheers Maurs xxx WOYWW #38
