I’m taking part in Polly Plum’s crochet along for ‘Tizzy’, a blanket make out of triangles. It’s an interesting construction, with the 2nd triangle growing out of the 1st.
I’m improving, slowly. We went to a pop-up deli at a local Italian pub, the Black Horse at Monks Horton, on Saturday, to buy some ham, fennel salami and Gorgonzola. We ended up staying for lunch. I may be wrong but I think that as long as there’s no new variant, we have good immunity to covid at present.
The cats are happy for us to stay at home.
And finally…
Take care and happy crafting
Hugs

That’s such great news that you’ve been feeling better and managed to get out, so pleased to hear that! The pop up deli sounds fab and right up your street. I like the look of that triangles project very much, it’s really effective!

Loving that blanket - I'm working on one myself, but using my Addi knitting machine to make something like hexi-puffs. Thanks for the funnies, as ever, they always make me smile!
ReplyDeleteHappy start of year 14!!

Glad to hear of your health improvement, slow and steady wins the day! Must have been lovely to have a pop u deli in the pub, a brilliant idea if ever I heard one! I do love that blanket pattern, I would have assumed it was sewn or crocheted together, so it’s magical to see the second triangle rising from the first, clever pattern, love your chosen colours too. ReplyDeleteGlad to her you are improving. The triangle construction is certainly different, am not very good in working a row along an edge, I never know if I have too many or too few stitches. Great cat funnies. Happy WOYWW. Angela #16
ReplyDeleteLove that Tizzy blanket, prefer your colours too.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are improving and have managed to have lunch out. Something we haven't done as yet, but which we will do before long.
How lovely the cats enjoy you hoomans being there.
Take care, Hugs, Neet 4 xx
That blanket is beautiful and very clever the way it's crocheted - as Julia said I would have expected the triangles to be sewn together. I'm so glad you are now feeling well enough to get out and about - the deli sounds great and those yummy sounding delicacies are making my mouth water! I love the funnies, they really made me smile.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely week,

Your crochet project looks fab - a bit beyond me but I bet you make a great job of it. Glad you are feeling better and able to get out and about a bit. xx Jo

Gorgeous blanket you're making. I can understand you being careful. We've hardly been anywhere and still wear face masks when shopping as we need to keep safe for my mum. Although the number catching Covid has gone down it is still there and we are hearing about people who have it or had it all the time The kitties look comfy and the funnies are good too. Have a great woyww, hugs Angela x14x
ReplyDeleteThat is a great blanket and looks difficult, the colours are lovely, Take care and stay safe Lilian B #18
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed enough that you can crochet so the blanket is super impressive! A pop up deli sounds great! We've been to a couple of Makers Markets lately - not many folk wearing masks these days. Covid numbers are reported to be 1 in 60 having it now - 2 weeks ago it was 1 in 45 so hopefully becoming safer, at least over the Summer. Hugs, Chrisx #27
