Here’s my final green man
It was ready for his birthday and he says he likes it.
I’m struggling a bit with a pain that radiates down from my cheek bone. I’ve checked with my dentist and my teeth are ok. I’m waiting for an appointment with my surgery. It could be some form of neuralgia.
We had a nice treat this week. My goddaughter sent us some Potteries oatcakes from Stoke.
We eat them with bacon, cheese, tomato and spring onion. A real treat.
Gracie and Bella send purrs to you all.
And finally…
Take care and happy WOYWW
Hugs

Yay, the birthday boy looks good in his slipover, hope you had a good lunch on Sunday! The pics of you and the cats made me smile, they’re gorgeous and the funnies made me hoot especially R2D2!

Well he looks happy as can be in his warm and decorative vest! Lovely to see it finished. What sweet kitties and I relly can't pick which of the funnies is the funniest! That cat could easily be saying "You can tune a guitar but ya can't tuna fish..." Hope the radiating pain backs off or the GP can get to the bottom of it!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW Early for a change!

How good does that gansy look! Stupendous and your model looks very proud to be wearing it.
ReplyDeleteI am also suffering with teeth, face, head pain but too terrified to go to dentist . . . will look up Neuralgia . . . thanks for that and I hope yours is better soon
Stay safe

Lovely pic of your hubby and the slipover is fab. Gorgeous photos of Gracie and Bella, and I had a good laugh at the funnies, especially the little face poking out of the guitar - cats really do get everywhere!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week and the pain in your jaw eases -hopefully you'll get answers from your GP.

Oh I laughed at the last funny - still laughing actually 🤣🤣. Your husband looks very happy in his wonderful jumper. I hope the cheek pain eases. So far I haven’t broken any bones, as I have not hit the ground. Balance is a real problem but I am usually on my scooter when out. Happy WOYWW. Angela #1
ReplyDeleteBelated Birthday Greetings to (the Green Man) sorry your hubby. He makes a great model in his new pullover.
ReplyDeleteLove the thought of those oatcakes but not the pain you have in your face. Glad the visit to the dentist revealed it was not anything to do with your teeth, just hope the doctor can sort you out. In the meantime cuddle up to one of the kitties to keep your cheek warm.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx
Super finished jumper, he looks mighty fine in it, another February birthday whoop whoop! Your foodie treat looks good too. Hugs BJ#4
ReplyDeletethe vest is a stunner! thanks for the laughs! Robyn 19
ReplyDeleteThe guitar being out of tuna made me howl Lynne. Glad you are enjoying the oatcakes - we are spoilt with being able to get them so easily here. Loving the slipover and glad hubby liked it too. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #7
ReplyDeletethe Green Man looks great! I bet it's cosy. Hope you work out what is causing the pain soon and can get it sorted. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy the orchids at the weekend!! Helen #6
ReplyDeleteHi Lynne, sorry to hear about the pain and hope it gets sorted. How lucky are you though to have the Oatcakes. My family originated from Stafordshire and Oatcakes were always around when I was a child but they are not so easy to get hold of in other parts of the country. There is nothing better than oatcakes and bacon, scrummy! Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x9x
ReplyDeleteHa, love the Green Man, great finish Lynne! Mmm, whilst I sniff oatcakes with cheese and bacon, am sorry to read that you have a neuralgia. I have palsy because of damage on the fifth nerve and occasionally the neuralgia is really painful. Warm hot water bottle wrapped up in a towel and lie on the sofa, bec@use carrying it around against your cheek is impossible!!. Then I get fed up with myself and take paracetamol and try not to be miserable, but it sure hurts, I feel for you.
ReplyDeleteooh loving the green man vest and hope the pain gets sorted soon. Thanks for your confirmation on my update about the old jeans being good as rags (you were correct, they are VERY well used!), will cut them up for tool cleaning rags at the allotment.
