WOYWW 669 Puffs and boobs

Hi all, this week I’ve been very boob- focussed. Ooh er, missus🀣
Our local hospital put out an appeal for knitted or crocheted boobs for the maternity unit, to help new mothers breastfeeding.

I thought I could use my puffs as nipples, as per the blue one above. I only received the pattern this week - they want the nipples done as the pink one but to me that’s not so defined. I’ve sent the organiser an email.
The pattern is here
I also went wrong using up scraps as they want a pair of each! Not sure what I can do with the odd ones. I’ve asked if they’re any use to them.  Oh well!
We have a nice lot of blossom on our apricot trees at the moment. I hope this week’s cold weather won’t affect them. It’s quite rare that we get a crop.
Bella enjoyed the warm weather as well.
Gracie goes out but is most happy in the bedroom. There was a rare moment of peaceful sharing this week. They both send purrs to your cats.

And finally

Take care and happy crafting!
Hugs

  1. Cool boobs Lynne - or should I say warm in their cosies. I hate having to get used to the clocks changing - wish it happened in the holidays so that last funny made me smile. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #1

  3. Your hospital is a bit more picky about the boobs than Glangwili, I think Helen made hers striped! They are great anyway and well done for helping out such a great cause.
Fingers crossed the apricot blossoms don’t get frost nipped, they’re so pretty - the magnolias in BP have been truly stunning the past week or so! The funnies made me hoot this week especially the Stonehenge one, lol!

  4. Well I think odd coloured boobs would be fun to see, then you could have a favourite. Probably not what they want at all but it does seem a shame not to use the odd ones you did. Well done on the nipple change.
I was surprised to see our magnolia in bud when we returned from our trip away and within a day or two the flowers arrived - hurrah for the sunshine. Now we have rain, much needed in the garden though.

  5. Ooh er, missus indeed! The whole booby episode amused me especially when requiring certain size nipples/pairs. Do they have to be the same size?
Loved the making new friends funny too!
    Happy WOYWW!

  6. Hi Lynne. You had me in tucks of laughter today... matching boobs??? Who has those? What I can't get is how they help new mums... I don't think they would have helped me all those years ago. Hope they agree to use all you have painstakingly made!!
Love your "and finally"s today! Especially the druids...
    Take care. God bless.

I can understand how they feel about the clocks changing I hate it! Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww. Hugs, Angela x13x

  12. I used to do Knitted Knockers but they were so strict about the pattern and my sister (who was the one I wanted to knit them for originally) felt they were too shifty in her bra and went "flat earth" instead. Will check your link as I am always happy to do charity knitting and I have a LOT of yarn LOL!
    Happy WOYWW!
