WOYWW 717 Twiddling

Hi all, I’m back for our Wednesday blog hop care of Miss Julia at The Stamping Ground
I’m crocheting twiddles again this week.

I was so touched by a photo sent to me from the partner of a lady with dementia.
Apparently she talks to the twiddler I made for her and cuddles it - doesn’t it make you glad to make them? (I’ve edited it to shield her face, for privacy).

I’m still working on the design of my big project and have a new question for you, if you’d like to participate.
        Here’s the question:
What 3 things (not monuments) does Paris make you think of?
I know everyone thinks of the Eiffel Tower but I need to go beyond that.
More details soon, I promise!

It was our monthly farmers and craft market in our village hall on Sunday. It was sleeting outside but we went for a bit.
Bella and Gracie are doing assiduous radiator worship at the mo, but send you all purrs.
When they’re not competing for lap space…

And finally:

Take care and happy WOYWW!
Hugs

Artists in Montmartre, the scary steps down from Sacre Coeur and buying an LP of the soundtrack of Les Miserables in a record shop on the Champs Elysees (1989). How lovely to get such a response to your twiddlers Lynne. Meow to the kitties. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2

great to see the lady enjoying her twiddler so much. does make it worthwhile for sure. Paris makes me think of the Notre Dame (before the fire) artists along the Seine and yes, the Eiffel Tower. Happy WOYWW Helen #1

It's a long time since I went to Paris, like I was still at school and I remember the artists standing along the river selling their paintings and being pinched on the bottom by a French man on the Metro. it's great to see the lady with the Twiddler, she obviously loves it very much. Loving the funnies and wishing you a happy woyww, Angela x9x

Oh how marvellous to see that your twiddler brings such comfort to that lady, just wonderful, no wonder that made you happy. Love the bright colourful pile of bits and pieces you’ve been crocheting, all for such a wonderful cause xx. I love the Sainte Chappelle, the Musee D’Orsay and the little streets on the Isle de France (can’t remember if that’s the exact name). Has your pile of books arrived yet?
Hugs LLJ 11 xx

How I love a farmers market, such lovely produce and friendly folks.
Oh that last 'funny' has me singing, it really works with the tune.
Paris - bridges, flower market in St Germaine, macrons and baguettes (plus lots of others that have been said, Montmartre being my favourite place)
Hugs, Neet 3 xx
ps can I add another please - the lamps and the Art Nouveau signs, sorry that's two

I was singing the words to the 9 to 5 tune 🀣🀣. Neil Armstrong dog puzzled me for a second! Three things Paris makes me think of : Impressionism; croissants and mixed toilets 🀣. Angela #14

Good morning, Lynne. Chocolate, Coffee, Pastries LOL There's my 3 Paris things but I really do have a 4th. I can't think of Paris anymore without Princess Diana. The picture of your twiddler recipient is precious and the Dolly Purrton cracked me up! LOL Thanks for sharing. Creative Blessings! ~Kelly #16

Only been to Paris once, and the Flea Market was one of my fave place, but also the Dali museum and all the baguettes! So weird to see people buying one and walking down the street, tearing off bits and eating the whole thng and calling that "lunch!" That many carbs, I'd be in a coma LOL! I made my fair share of twiddle muff and cuff but switched over to dolls. Been a while, so you remind me the need for them has not diminished at all...
Happy late WOYWW, on the week that got away from me!
