Here’s my art class desk from last week. You can’t really see my drawing but I’m having trouble getting the size of the squirrel’s head right.
And here are all our autumn vegetables from 2 weeks ago.
There are some beautiful paintings
Sadly, as I got home, my art bag (A2 size) got stuck in our kitchen door and I damaged my shoulder, pulling it free. It’s been quite a saga going from a broken or torn shoulder cuff diagnosis to the cuff muscles being pinched between bones. I’ve had a steroid jab to reduce the inflammation ,and am on Dihydrocodeine which is infinitely better than nasty sickness-inducing Tramadol.
I’ve managed to do a bit more crochet, with Bella’s help, just more blanket strippery.
A local friend took this brilliant photo of Hengist and Horsa’s white horse. It’s tricky to get a good angle as it’s behind the Eurotunnel terminal. I’d like to paint that one day, it’s more like the spirit of a wild horse, than the groomed one that’s the emblem of Kent.
Here’s more about Hengist and Horsa, as I’m not sure they feature in dark age history much beyond Kent.
Bella sends purrs to you all, in an ‘elegant’pose on my first chevron blanket. 😻
And finally …
Happy WOYWW

LOL! Not sure what's funnier, the earth has no corners or the wait your turn to fart! Both gave me a much needed laugh. Sorry about your shoulder - it sucks re-injuring something that was healing. Sorry you'll miss your class, but the samples shown are amazing so I'm sure you will keep at it when able, Wow. they are stunning - a talented and inspirational bunch for sure! Heal soon. Happy WOYWW!

Ah I’m sorry you’ve been in such pain with your shoulder but sincerely hope that the physio visit has helped. The paintings of the winter veg are really brilliant, there’s some good squashes there! I’m glad you’re able to crochet a little with Bella as your able assistant!! Hugs to you all,
LLJ 3 xx
Oh Lordy Lynne, I'm sorry about your shoulder, yikes the most improbable things can cause such damage. How painful and frustrating for you. I'm glad though, that you at least have a pain killer that doesn't induce any other grim symptoms. The vegetables are amazing, what a talented group you are. Again, am impressed by your stating power, if it was me, the head size problem would have me scouting round for another image to use, hopeless aren't I!! Sending you healing vibes. Xx
Sorry to hear about your shoulder and hope it heals soon . Great funnies this week !! Helen #2
Love the white horse, I didn’t know about that one and have just read an interesting article here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folkestone_White_Horse. Apparently the EU objected to it. I think it is wonderful. Sorry to hear about your shoulder, hope it heals quickly. Happy WOYWW. Angela #10

Still giggling at the God made... meme, didn't know of that white horse thanks for the link. Super veggies. Hugs Bj#12
I'm so sorry that you hurt your shoulder, I deal with shoulder pain from a fall I had 10 years ago that has turned into arthritis. 😠 The paintings that you have posted are all fantastic! Which ones are yours? I love the white horse, he looks so free and joyful! My favourite comic today...the first one of course! 🍂❤️Lindart#15
Great funnies this week Lynne except the news of your poor shoulder. Hope it doesn't prevent you from going to art class next week. Meow to Bella. Stay safe and happy belated WOYWW. Sarah
