WOYWW 709 Happy new year!

Hi all,
Back for our first blog hop via Julia’s Stamping Ground of the new year. I hope you’ve all had a good break and wish you all the best for the new year.
We had a quiet time with Bella and Gracie.
I’ve made some progress with B’s birthday present. I’ve sewn on the leaves
I have to do the rib for the armholes- it takes ages and I tend to tense up and end up with a bad shoulder.
I’m experimenting with a yarn guide ring. I think it’s helping but who knows?
This is it.

I’m taking the Xmas decorations down today so I’ll then be able to show you my new desk with the crochet hook organiser, I hope!

Gracie and Bella send purrs to you all and especially to your cats.
And finally …

Take care and happy WOYWW
Hugs

  2. Happy New Year my lovely friend, wishing you health and happiness xx B’s slipcover is looking great, hope the ribbing turns out well - doing button bands and armholes was my bete noire when I did make garments. The fabric scissors funny is a fav of mine and my menfolk know that they touch mine at their peril, lol!!

  8. I love the look of the yarn guide ring, think that might be a very clever idea. Can’t suggest anything that would help with the tensing…except to perhaps avoid the need for armhole rib, which at this point of course, is quite a ridiculous thing to say! Just do little bits at a time, no long haul tensing! A very happy New Year to you both and the kitty gals xx

  11. Never heard of a yarn ring, but then I am not a knitter. Looks intriguing. Great funny, I am very precious about my scissors as well, the good ones are not out on display!! Your kitties are adorable. Some days I do miss rubs and cuddles (esp when I see cute pics) but no more pets for me. Happy New Year, have a good week, love n hugs Cindy xx #11
