WOYWW 711 The Green man

Hi all, I’m back again for our weekly bloghop c/o  The stamping-ground

My desk is much as last week except for the extra leaves.
I’ve woven the ends in but I think the slipover needs a few more leaves near the bottom and on the shoulders. When I said it at first Brian said it would turn him into the green man but agreed after I showed him this photo.
Bella is helping by modelling the leaves.

I had a nice day out on Saturday. I joined Ethelburga Quilters making about 150 heart shaped cushions for breast cancer patients in East Kent hospitals. I was on the stuffing and sew up squad.

Bella and Gracie send purrs to you all.

And finally…
I’m sure I’ve posted this one before but it always gets me

Take care all and happy WOYWW
Hugs

  5. Looks good, but yes more leaves, more better :D Your heart project with your quilting groups is amazing. Such a lot of them (quilters and hearts LOL!) and of course your funnies always amuse. Pavlov's cat looks like around here. Son lets his cat rule his roost, but it is in my roost now, so I am trying to encourage her to adapt to our schedule. Not sure I'm winning but not giving up YET!
    HAPPY WOYWW!

  11. On my first trip in on the bus to uni I read over someone's shoulder the name Pavolov and decided it was a music student. I soon discovered how wrong I was. lol
The slipover is coming along nicely and the leaves are looking great, Do you fix the down randomly or are they in a sequence.
Have a great week, Hugs, Neet 3 xx

  13. Green man! could also nearly be Bacchus! It looks great Lynne, I agree about the shoulders. Does he like it? Bella doing a great job with the leaves, what a model. Fantastic work on the stuffing and sewing up squad, what a marvellous thing to be involved in, the shape of those cushions makes such perfect sense.
