WOYWW 808 Shadows and ribs

Hi all. I’m back for our weekly bloghop courtesy of Sarah’s Craft shed.
Firstly here’s my desk:
I’ve been adding shadows to my glass-distorted postcard watercolour. It’s better than my first attempt but it’s still a bit wobbly.
I’ve put crochet on hold for now and am back knitting as B’s chosen a ribbed slipover. Bella’s doing a spot inspection here 😻.
She sends you all purrs.
And warns you to stay clear of any rogue tape measures.😹

This Wednesday we’re starting a stormy seascape watercolour, using soft pastels as foam apparently and torn/reglued stripes of paper to add texture. I’ve found a few images:

I’m not sure yet which will be suitable but I love the colours of the last one.
Folkestone book festival has been interesting. On Sunday we saw Jay Rayner. He was there on time despite two train routes cancelling all trains due to storm damage - he then hired a car and got to Folkestone on time. Very resourceful and an entertaining speaker.

And finally…

Take care and happy WOYWW
Hugs

The water refraction piece is coming on really well, I like it very much! Good luck with the moody waves, you do some very interesting things in your class. I really like that knitted rib you’re doing, the colours show up really well, I can see B in that!

Who cares if it's wobbly, I love it! The seascape idea looks good and quite different from the last piece. Hope Bella doesn't find any problems with the knitting lol! Have a great woyww. Hugs Angela x10x

Lovely knitting

Bella. has such beautiful eyes gazing up at you. Do her claws ever catch on your knitting? Fabulous wave pictures, I love the colour of the last one and the drama of the first one. Your distortion picture is amazing and I am looking forward to see the wave one. Happy WOYWW. Angela #13
