My ‘desk’ is my lap, and I’m making twiddles. I’m still in a group making cannula sleeves for patients with dementia. It was set up by a nurse so they have strict rules on construction, so the sleeve stretches to cover a cannula, and to avoid choke hazards. Some members are happy to knit but don’t like making twiddles so now I’m making batches for them.
I’m not going to art class today but I finished my canal boat.
It has a few mistakes but I enjoyed making it.
Last week, we started a painting of spring flowers in the style of Kurt Jackson, who uses recycled jars and garden bits and bobs. I have a pussy willow from a class last year which has dried nicely.
Bella likes to stay close and sends you all purrs.

It was nice to see your name on the list this morning, I hope you’re not feeling too gronky this morning and that Aragorn was a suitably good nurse ;-D. Your canal boat is really good, it looks like it’s pushing through the water - look forward to seeing your version of the daffs too. The funnies made me hoot especially the odds on using up stash *grin*

I love your and finally especially pooh and piglet one, 😃 and the twiddled are very colourful but difficult to wash I imagine.
Pray your infection goes away, I'm permanently on steroids so am permanently tired.

Your boat is looking amazing. Well done. Glad to see you are feeling well enough to join in. LOL! I am totally a feral housewife :D The twiddles look interesting, Did you wash them in one of the net bags? My MIL keeps buying them for "me" but really cause she wants to use them when she visits. I must have a ton cause I never remember where they were stashed between visits.

Wow, what a big box of twiddles! They do look fun to make! Your drawing is lovely, I've always wanted to go one one of those boats! I love the jar with Spring flowers in it, are those flowers actually blooming now where you live? That last comic is great, however, I dont know if I'm aiming for "feral" or "domestic"! I do like the canal boat picture and am sorry you see a couple of errors but I don't think anyone else will notice unless you tell them - don't mention it.

Sorry to hear your not well. Hope you make a speedy recovery. Those fiddly twiddly things look so pretty in your basket. I think cannula sleeves are a great idea. I can imagine fiddling with them can be very tempting to the patients. Your twiddles must make the perfect finishing touch. The canal boat painting is beautiful despite errors. What errors!!! The container for the flowers is fabulous. I have a pussy willow twig too. It has roots so it's in water in a milk bottle on the windowsill. I'm hoping I will be able to pot it up eventually and put it out in the garden. Bella is so beautifully fluffy. Silver sends her best meows. Take care and get well. Elizabeth x #16
