I saw this Dragon’s vein agate crescent and it called out to me to combine it with a silver hare. It’s not a stone I’d heard of but I couldn’t resist it.
I’ve made a few more squares and have been playing a bit with Tunisian crochet. It makes a dense, textured fabric, with little stretch.
For comparison, here’s the same combination in linen stitch. Boring but well- behaved!
I did a couple more blanket squares as well.
I’m waiting for the yarn to arrive for a new project. More about that next week.

That pendant is spectacular. And the crochet looks pretty good too - I have a post on my blog from forever ago about no-roll tunisian crochet. I'd say it is one of my top pinterest pins. I solved that problem but for me it just too so long to feel like you were making any progress I kinda gave up on it. Ah well, maybe one day....
Happy WOYWW.

It is beautiful in the photo but even gorgeouser in real life, thank you soooooo much, I absolutely love it! I’ve only done Tunisian crochet in the making of a flower, it makes a dense square, the linen stitch is lovely! Oooh more yarn to come, I look forward to seeing what you get up to!

I just adore that cat funny at the end.
Love the silver hare and the stone - beautiful - that yu made for LLJ. She must be over the moon with that pendant.
Fab crochet too - you are a woman of many talents - and a cat lover too. Can't be a bad combination.
Hugs, Neet xx
Wow that pendant is stunning and so perfect for Jan with that little hare on it. I love the Tunisian crochet - it's very attractive and it looks sturdy - I could imagine it would make a good knitting bag, or drum style basket. So glad you are continuing to recover well with the help of Bella and Gracie - they sound like the best medicine!
Hope you have a good week,

The pendant is stunning. I like the different stitches and hope you can un curl your curly ones !! Helen #4
ooh I love that pendant. The Tunisian Crochet is very dense isn't it, I tried it a few times but wasn't sure what to turn it into either so I went back to regular. What a great occupation it would be, to be a cat cushion, I would definitely sign up for that one. I used to have Rainbow Lorikeets on the balcony in my Sydney flat, what a racket they made but so pretty. Happy WOYWW! Elle #20 this week
Hi Lynne. A lovely gift - well done. My word - that crochet does indeed curl over! Hope you manage to get it to behave...
Take care. God bless.

Okay, it took me a second or two to work out why that last one was funny🤣. Beautiful cats, such lovely company. Happy WOYWW Angela #15

I've never tried Tunisian crochet, Lynne - it looks interesting. I'm not sure I'd want anything that came out really dense and without much stretch but I am sure there are really good uses for it. I love both your samples and certainly don't think the other one is boring! Your new kitties are just utterly adorable - what great pictures. They must be so thrilled to have fallen on their paws with you and your loving home for them. They've really settled in and taken over, haven't they! Kitties love it when yu are recovering from an illness because you are much more available a a warming platform. I hope you are feeling better now. Love the funnies, especially the cat one!
Happy belated WOYWW,

Enjoyed reading and looking at what you have been up to.
I haven't been active on WOYWW for such a long time and I lost my Artistic mojo ages ago. I am hoping for inspiration looking at prolific artists like yourself.
Thank you for the Aussie fact of the day!! The garden is often full of such birds and Eastern Rosellas! They and the pigeons are eating the olives (or those that are left after a friend had a good pick. We only did a few...)
Fabulous pendant...and the Tunisian crochet looks interesting!
Happy WOYWW!
Stay safe and keep well!
