WOYWW 771 Flowers and crochet

Hi all, sending big hugs to all our friends who could do with one this week.
At art class,  we’ve started spring flower studies. I have a daffodil, a purple tulip and some pussy willow.

As they’ll change quickly, we took photos against a white sheet of paper so we can record how they are.

My crochet cardigan is developing.

With help from Bella
And finally…

Take care and happy WOYWW

  1. Awww. Bella looks so sweet! And the cardi looks amazing in the sunlight - the colours really POP. So funny how magical just a few rays are in transforming everything. Cannot wait for Spring proper. Thanks for the funnies! Sounds like Poppy's ToDo list for sure...
    Happy WOYWW!

  3. From Neet:
Neet has left a new comment on your post 'WOYWW 771 Flowers and crochet ':

Wish `I could crochet like you do, and with such speed and ease. I will keep trying though, am determined not to give up.
Love the flowers you chose but such contrasts to catch - the papery thin petals of the daffodil, the fluffy pussy willow and the sheen on the tulip. I have no doubts though, you will do it.
Take care - smile like Bella is smiling.
    Hugs, Neet 4 xx

  4. What pretty photos. I love Daffodils and such a pretty table setting. I wish Bella could come keep my Bailey company, he's going thru wanting my time....I think he's 14 and starting to age gracefully !!! Really fussy with his food now. Your CAT'S LIST is very appropriate ! Enjoy a great week

  6. Are you going to draw or paint the flowers? Lovely! Have fun. I do like your cardigan too... I knitted two (rather warm/winter) sweaters and am now thinking of knitting or crocheting a cardigan too... the colours are inspiring so I might dive into my stash and start a 'multicoloured cardigan' too... Enjoy your day, hug from Holland. Marit #15

  9. Bella looks huggable! Great idea to photograph the flowers. One out of my vase of tulips looked perfect, so I decided to sketch it. I touched just slightly and all the petals fell off 🤣🤣. Happy WOYWW. Angela #1

  16. Oh I remember doing just this at art classes that I took when my gal was a baby...I got into trouble because I deliberately missed out the daffodil...don't love em particularly and didn't feel the need to draw one!! What a twit.
Your cardi is coming on beautiful, my word that splodge of sunshine makes it almost sparkly!
