WOYWW 813 Happy new year to you all!

Hi all, I wish you all a happy and healthy new year, and hope you’ve had a good Xmas. Ours was quiet, (apart from an annoying tinnitus I’ve developed) but we cooked some excellent meals and cakes.
I’ve not got back to my art desk but have done some crochet - using my Hobbii winter glow yarn in a more blended style to make myself a waistcoat.

Bella has been supervising but is currently distracted by her Crispmouse presents, a cardboard donut with a ball inside and some catnip mice from Mollys Mice.

Last year’s mice were brown and we had to look twice rather too often. (You can see a brown one next to the donut). She sends you all purrs.

And thank you, Bella, for not climbing our Xmas tree.

And finally …
This photo is off facebook- it just makes me smile.

Thank you all and happy WOYWW
Hugs

Bella certainly has her eyes on that mouse! I made myself a waistcoat years ago, I was just wondering what happened to it the other day. The main part was crocheted, but I knitted a border all round. Happy New Year and happy WOYWW. Angela #8

Happy New Year to you and Brian! Glad you had a good Christmas despite the tinnitus. Bella’s face made me smile, that mouse is going nowhere! Lovely colours in your crochet too, nice blend in the yarns.

Happy New Year! I've been eying that carboard thing with the ball for Inky and Mittsy, how does Bella like it? It's so hard to find toys that the cats actually like and don't lose in the first 5 minutes! Yes, good for Bella for not climbing the tree! Inky ignores ours, Mittsy likes batting the ornaments off the tree so she has her own at the bottom of the tree - no one climbs the tree! Lovely colours on your waistcoat - is that like a vest? Or a sweater? Have a wonderful happy and healthy 2025! Lindart #13

ooh wow the crocheted waistcoat is looking brilliant. I struggle with that, I remember as a kid my nan and Great nan were amazing and used to do granny squares in minutes......they tried to teach me and they always came out as triangles!! Also, LOVE the FB picture....a perfect hiding place :-)
