WOYWW 716 Interesting Times

Hi all!
Here’s Bella helping me with my latest bit of crochet.
It’s the Frida Kahlo shade of Louisa Harding’s yarn Pittura.

II’ve done one front and am now starting the back. It’s 4 ply but grows quickly in herringbone stitch.
I’ve also done a sketch for my new project. I’d be interested to know what this reminds you of, if anything, please. Jan, you know, but you could add a teeny clue if you wish. I’ll be telling you more about it in the next few weeks.

Other aspects of this have had me doing a lot more work but I enjoyed doing this sketch.
This photo of Bella was a surprise as well.
She and Gracie both send purrs to you all.

And finally…

I’ll try to get round more desks this week.
Take care all and happy WOYWW
hugs

  1. I love Pitura, so pretty. I have a virus shawl partly finished...somewhere. Got stuffed in a bag when Dear Son arrived home and took over my yarn/ironing room! Thanks for the laughs and lovely cat photos. Will miss my constant companion when she goes with DS to his new home. {boo hoo}
    Happy on-time WOYWW!

  2. How nice to have a friend to keep you company when you're crafting. Unfortunately if I did that with the new puppies the wool would be all around the house by now! Sending woyww hugs, Angela x9x

  3. you are either buying a coffee house or going to somewhere to pick your own coffee beans.
The Frida colouring is very nice, I can well imagine how this will look - fabulous! Usually does with your skills.
Love the cat photos, so pretty/
Yes, I have gel bottles and wheat bags, one specially for my neck but the relief is only very temporary with them, I need a daily massage by someone who knows what they are doing. LOL.

  5. It’ll be interesting to see if anyone picks up on the sketch - cafe culture really did start in this particular city where a lot of stories take place. Hope that’s not too big a clue!! Love the colours of the new yarn, hope you’re having fun with it, the cats look as if htey’re ‘helping’ quite well xx

  12. I'm rather late in the day doing my visits...it's been another busy one for me.
The sketch reminds me of people watching in the cafes in Paris.
