WOYWW 779

Hi all,
Here’s my desk for this week.

We’re starting an ink and wash project, using waterproof ink and twigs, believe it or not, for the outline and fur. I’ve bought a cheap black smock - it could be messy!
I don’t seem to have taken a photo of my croissant / hot cross bun picture. I wasn’t happy with it for a couple of reasons. My bake-it-yourself croissant came out too small and the technique of wiping out patterns in the serviette with stencils didn’t work out well.
Hey ho!
I have an idea for ATCs but nothing to show yet.

Bella is modelling my C2C (corner-to-corner) squares, which will grow into a new pullover for Brian.

And finally…

Take care and happy WOYWW
Hugs

  2. Apollo G! {snort} The new pullover is progressing nicely, and very curious about the bake-it-yourself croissant! I'll just bet ink wash will be messy so yeah, best to be smocked, so to speak. Oh and my favourite mask from Covid days? Said Schrodinger's Smile on it {tee hee}
    Happy WOYWW!

  3. Fun cartoons....Your header photo of the Cats together makes me wonder how much Bailey misses his brother, they spent a lot of time together. I think it's great when there are 2.... HAVE FUN with your new project. Hope to see photos when done. Happy WOYWW

  8. Oh those two final funnies really made me chuckle! I'm so impressed by your artwork there (which made me think of Lunch Lady Jan with the hare) - I wouldn't even attempt to try and recreate that! Enjoy the sunshine, Lisa-Jane #10 www.prettymypage.co.uk

  11. Liked the Nasa one...my daughter just took a school trip to America and visited Nasa with her year 11s. She was very impressed to see a rocket launch.
