WOYWW 816, dragonflies, crochet and logs

Hi all,
In contrast with last week where I didn’t show any dragonflies, here are two versions! This one was my original but I overworked the body and the wings.

I tried to sort it out but it wasn’t working. So I started again.
I think this one needs a teensiest bit of detail on the wings. Claire suggested I print it with net but I’m not having much luck with that so I’ll ask her at class tomorrow.

Brian’s slipover is nearly finished. It’s already keeping Bella warm. 😻 She sends you all purrs.
She’s a bit disgruntled today as we locked her in for our log delivery.

All that (3 cubic metres) is now either in the log pile or in another pile out of the way of the car.
And finally…

I’ll  be round to visit your desks care of Sarah’s craftshed when I get back from art class and lunch.
Take care and happy WOYWW
Hugs

LOL! Book yoga is my favourite kind. I like the dragonflies, but then I am no watercolour pro. But I think you are make such progress. You'll paint your own book cover next time. Bella does look warm, but I bet if you used your last bit of yarn to make her a jumper she would be a lot less interested .... :D
Happy WOYWW!

Wow Lynne, that dragonfly is fantastic! I love the colours, everything, it looks pretty perfect to me already. I know sorting out a big log delivery like that is a hard job but I do really love stacking logs in the shed, find it very therapeutic a bit like laying our hedge back in Burbage. You could have knocked me over with a feather when G said about the vinyl but the boys aren’t interested and he hasn’t played them for years. It’s interesting about how much they fetch, Bowie and Sex Pistols about £45 a pop but even Brian and Michael's Matchstalk Men etc went for £8!!
Of course I’ll send you an Astral something, will DM you.

I like your dragonflies. Just wish I could see them a bit closer as they do look rather scrumptious. Likewise I love the colours in Brian's latest knit. I bet he has the biggest set of woolies in the south of England.
Tickles to Bella
Hugs, to you two, Neet 2 xx
