WOYWW 875 the art of painting culverts and eye taping

Hi, just a short post today. Sending healing hugs to Neet. Bella wanted to send her a chocolate mouse for her birthday yesterday till I explained it had no mouse in it, so we sent her an e-card which I hope she got ok.
Here’s my desk from last week’s art class. I’m not going today.as I’ve contracted Bell’s palsy, a temporary paralysis of the left side of my face. It means I have to keep my eye covered as it won’t close properly and there’s serious risk of damage to my eye, else. I really haven’t got used to taping it, and have to have it untaped if I drive so I’d miss half the class while trying to redo it when I get there. Brian is helping me do it at home.
Bella’s keeping us company and sends you all purrs.
I’m not up to precise crochet one- eyed so I’ve just done a few twiddles, which I forgot to take photos of.

And finally…

Stay well and happy WOYWW

Determined to do better than last week!! Oh dear. I don't know a lot about Bell's Palsy - is the prognosis good for it going as quickly as it came? I hope so. What an annoyance the taping must be, but at least you have help, and Bella for healing cuddles.
Happy pre-knitting WOYWW!

Oh bless you. That’s not nice and I hope you recover very soon.

I am really hoping that the palsy goes as quickly as it arrived. It must be tricky taping it yourself, having Bri do it is a huge help. Bella’s doing a good job with the healing hugs too 🥰🥰
Love from us all,
