My desk is my lap again this week
I’m making more keepsake owls from the pattern by the Wishing Shed. This one is for a friend who has a dachshund.
I’m also doing one for a Ukrainian friend, but haven’t got further than the wing decorations yet. The one on the right is a national symbol, a trident often shown as a sort of art deco bird carrying an olive branch.
We’ve an exciting weekend coming up, a party at Franc’s restaurant in Canterbury on Friday for my birthday, then on Sunday we’re going to Amberlea Japanese Tea house for a meal. Brian somehow found it online - he’s always been an excellent at finding interesting days out.
And finally …
Happy WOYWW

LOL! The funnies you find always make me laugh. The owls are cool - stitching may have outpaced papercraft on WOYWW this week, at least so far! Enjoy your day out and purrs to Bell from Poppy

The embroideries are really great Lynne, I’m glad you’re enjoying making them so much! They’re a nice small project to do when the weather’s been so warm as well, I’ve shied away from the crochet blanket and have been knitting baby hats for Glangwili hospital, a lot cooler!
Hope you have a wonderful birthday, the treats planned sound brilliant. Well done Bri for finding the Japanese tea rooms, a proper birthday treat!
Hugs LLJ 2 xx
