I’m back to join in our blog circle care of Mrs Julia. Thanks for your good wishes and patience last week, we finally have broadband back! We’re still on a temporary landline number, which should be back this weekend. We still don’t have the battery backup we were promised and haven’t even broached the subject of statutory compensation, but we’re getting there, step by step.
Anyway, I’ve darkened my leaf: and have a little haiku to go with it: Autumn falls softly, green is gone but russet flares, curls and goes to sleep.
My Möbius poncho is growing with Bella’s supervision. She sends you all purrs:
We’re mainly clearing space for a new recliner armchair for Brian as he’s much more comfortable with his legs stretched out. We had an ancient Chesterfield sofa given to his grandfather by the deanery of St David’s and we’ve tried everything to make it more comfortable but its time has come.
This week, at art class, we’re starting a new watercolour project with a lemon and a pair of scissors. No idea, we’ll find out on Wednesday morning.
And finally…
Happy WOYWW
Hugs

Hooray for getting broadband back despite the continued issues! Your leaf is lovely and I like the colours of the poncho very much. The cat/panda funny made me LOL!
