WOYWW 688 Tizzy in Wales

Hi all,
We’re back in Wales again rather quicker than we expected as we’re down for the funeral of one of Brian’s cousins, David Evans. He was a wonderful watercolour artist. Here’s a picture we bought as a christening present for Jan’s youngest, many years ago. We always looked forward to his Christmas cards - always featuring one of his paintings.

We’re staying with Jan and Gordon while we’re here. It’s so lovely to see them again.
My Tizzy is growing; here’s a square in progress for the front, with the knitting bag Jan made me.
We brought the silk with us as well as Jan has ideas and contacts aplenty to use it up.

Bella and Gracie are being looked after by their Aunty Liz.
And finally…

Take care and happy crafting
Hugs

  1. Enjoy Jan again, and so soon, but so sad it had to be tied to a funeral. Tizzy is looking amazing (as is the bag!) and your funnies are just the smile I needed today.
Happy WOYWW (Determined to DO BETTER this week!)

  2. All jokes aside, it’s been lovely to see you both again and the weather is even hotter than last time. Tizzy is coming along beautifully, it’s been fun to have a crochet-a-long together chatting away. The robot funny made me laugh a lot and the Pavlov training is a bit too close for comfort!!

  4. Yes, the robot joke had me chuckling too! Your fabrics look lovely - I just wish I could think of something I could do with it but my cupboards are already in need of a good clear out before I even think about getting more. I bet Jan will do something magical with it. The water colour is lovely - what a clever man. xx Jo

  6. I know that funerals are a sad time but it is a good chance to get together with many friends and relatives that you don't see very often and when you are celebrating a long life it can be a happy time too when people share their memories. Loving the funnies, always good to finish with a smile. Have a lovely woyww, Angela x9x

  8. Gear that Jan and G could fit you in, makes the journey and the sadness a bit easier when there’s friends there for you. Hope the weather hasn’t got the better of you, I wonder how hot it has to be before you don’t crochet for a while?!!
