WOYWW 691 Tizzy progress

Hi I’m back for our weekly blog hop care of Julia at the Stamping Ground
Here’s the left front of my Tizzy cardigan

I’ve still to do the sleeves and pockets then I can sew it together,  do the borders and add buttons.
It’s a random pattern but since the ribs go the same way, I hope the join doesn’t look messy. I use the one where you take the loop off the hook and feed it under and through the 2nd piece.

Sorry I missed last week. I felt rotten, achy and exhausted like when I had covid. I didn’t and they’re doing tests to see what caused it, as it seems to be happening after I’ve had any chest infection.
I have an appointment this morning so I’ll do most of my commenting later.

Bella and Gracie don’t mind me sitting down a lot 😻😻

They’re pulling out all their advanced cuteness training as they compete for my lap. 😻😻

And finally…

Remember 2001?
Take care and enjoy your crafting!
Hugs

  1. I’m sorry you were so rough last week, hope you’re feeling a bit better now and the medics are able to help you as well. I think the Tizzy seams are very neat, the variegated colours hide it well. The funnies made me hoot especially the last one!! Good luck with your appt, let me know how you get on xx

  4. Me again! I’m sewing up some squares to make baby blankets for the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford, where the special care baby unit needs them. They don’t care what colours as long as its washable so I thought I’d send some there as I’d already sent off squares to The Gift of Warmth. It reminded me of how much I detest joining squares though which is why I’m doing a stripy one at the moment, lol!

  8. What happened in 2001? Not sure I like the poor dog stuck in the washing machine, but the others are a hoot 🀣
Sorry to hear you have not been well, hoping you will feel better soon. I have a big apology to make. I spent several hours going through my emails today and found an invitation from you to your writing blog. I tried clicking on it, but it said the link had expired. Could you re send me a link please, I don’t how that email slipped through the net. Happy WOYWW. Angela #17

  13. The 2001 comic is hilarious! Your Tizzy cardi looks great, looking forward to seeing it all finished! In answer to your question about why rescues from people falling into the ocean might not happen, yes it's the sharp pointy rocks and the surf that makes it too dangerous for rescuers. Hugs to the kitties from Mittsy and Inky! Have a great week, and thanks for your visit, Lindart #22

  14. Still love the colours of your tizzy cardi it's going to be FAB. Sorry to hear you are struggling with your health, hope they get to the bottom of it soon, great that you have company when you are resting. Actually I'm struggling with my Hebrew on Duolingo. Not much is sticking in so all I seem to do is revisit previous levels, my email this week said I learnt ONE new word last week although I reviewed loads - that about sums it up really. Sorry I am so late, life has been ridiculous this week. BJ#8
