WOYWW 870 Tricky drawing and a completed slipover

Hi all,
I’m joining in with our weekly bloghop, and sending healing hugs to our Neet
Here’s my desk. This graphite and watercolour painting of an egg box is a dastardly exercise in perspective. Here’s my desk:
Here are a few of our winter landscapes from last week:

I managed to finish Brian’s slipover the evening before his birthday.

I have some yarn left over so I’ve started a waistcoat for myself, under Bella’s supervision.

She sends you all purrs.
I’m using only two colours with the beige, a green mix and ‘rainbow sky’. It’s a little darker but I’m happy with it.

We had a lovely lunch at Francs in Canterbury (which had an excellent review recently from Grace Dent). B wore his new cotton waistcoat:

And finally …..

I’ll be around after class so put the kettle on!
Happy WOYWW
Hugs

Lovely groups of artwork there, I like the one with the barbed wire fence. You did a great job with Bri’s slipover, the combo of pattern and yarns is a really good one, it works together so well. I’m glad you enjoyed the lunch, Bri looks very dapper! And the last funny hits home….lol!

I asked the doctor about that nerve and her response was to send me to A&E 😩. Here I wait, been here over an hour and not seen the triage nurse yet 😟.

Meant to say your husband looks great in his new slipover. Perspective is a bit of a pain. I understand the theory, it’s the application that can be tricky! Hugs Angela #10

Back home now, they think it is one of two nerve conditions. Did yours go away eventually.

Such wonderful artwork there Lynne. I bought a fab book for £3 from Attingham. The Winter Hare by artist Andrew Haslen. I thought Max and Ben would love it for inspiration. The slipover looks so smart - well done you x x Jo 🌈

Good morning, Lynn.
I love your art. Congrats on finishing your project. He looks quite dapper. By the smile, I'd say he's happy with the garment.
