I hope you’ve all had a lovely Christmas. Ours has been quiet but nice. We could’ve done with a bit less rain but.
A little bit of crafting has been done. I’ve started the front of Brian’s slipover, which has been mainly about losing and finding crochet hooks. I swear that black hole that eats my hooks is getting bigger.
I have also adjusted these earrings to fit on my sleepers. I really like them, they’re Writer’s earrings 😏
Gracie and Bella have discovered they like turkey, to the extent of jumping on the kitchen table to see if there’s more. Nope it was already in the fridge. Naughty girls!

There’s been the usual competition for my lap on the recliner
This Christmas has brought us a nice surprise. We’re back in touch with a friend who moved to Hungary forty years ago. He’s a writer, so lots of emails as we catch up.

Oh nice earrings Missus and very appropriate too! I can see you wearing those lots and lots! How fantastic that you reconnected with a long lost friend, that’s wonderful, the positives of t’Interwebs eh? The pics of the cats made me laugh as did the music funny, that’s a good one which I’ll have to share with the band!

I can’t account for your crochet hooks….that black hole has a sibling in this house! Isn’t it wonderful that Gracie and Bella are such fixtures thst it’s hard to believe that it’s only a matter of months since you bought them home!
