WOYWW 668 Puffs, spirals

Hi all, I’m back for our weekly blog hop. I’ve not done a lot of crafting this week, apart from bits of crazy crochet. I’m finding making crochet puffs a satisfying pastime while watching TV. Some have been incorporated into spirals. I used them for the centres of the sunflowers, too.
Others, I don’t know. Any suggestions?

The puffs are easy to make. Here’s a link: Crochet puffs

I had to smile this week at a photo of the great Kaffe Fassett. Lots of crazy crochet patterns in the background!

This week, my novel has gone out for a test reading and I’ve arranged a professional edit for after Easter. Soon I’ll have to tackle all the hustle and bustle of trying to sell it. I’m not looking forward to that but it’s a necessary strpp to getting published.

Gracie and Bella send purrs to your cats.

And finally…

Take care all and happy crafting!
Hugs

  1. Ooh exciting! I can crank out puffs in a flash with my knitting machine LOL! I have been travelling down a crochet rabbit hole lately because of the Tom Daly ripple sweater so happy to see this, as well as enjoying the funnies!
    Happy WOYWW!

  2. The Pavlov’s cat made me hoot, they really do have us well trained eh? Love those little crochet puffs, will have a look at the link later. The spirals are such fun, so bright and colourful, just like Kaffe Fassett, I love it!

  3. I couldn't find where to put my comment (being the first) but on my second visit to you I got it. Love the puffs for the centres, now I want to know what you are going to make with all the pieces you have crocheted around them? They look rather special.
On my first day at college I saw someone reading about Pavlov on the bus and I thought "mm, bet she is doing music". Oh my sweet innocence as I learned later with all the theorists.

  4. Morning Lynn. I have to say I just howled with laughter at the wordle strip! My daughters and I do it each morning then have a bit of fun seeing who has won - yes, we are 200 miles apart, but it just brings us together each day!
Have fun with those spirals and puff balls - and any way you think to use them.
    Take care. God bless.
