WOYWW 696 Modelling Tizzy in progress

Hi all, I hope you enjoyed the Crop on Saturday! I’m looking forward to the photos.

I’m getting there with my Tizzy cardigan. It isn’t finished but I tried it on as I’m trying to decide whether it needs a shawl collar.
What do you think?

I’ve still to complete the back, the border and sew on pockets and buttons. I do like the crazy swirl of colours the Tizzy pattern makes. I’m very glad I made it in 4 ply as it’s plenty warm enough.

We had our covid boosters on Sunday; we both have sore arms and my asthma’s bad but I think that’s more to go with the season.
It alarms Bella and Gracie but they’re fine apart from that and they send purrs to you all.

And finally….

Take care and happy WOYWW
Hugs

  2. the crop was great, lots of photos on my blog and many others . I thinkTizzy looks fantastic I would be tempted to add a collar if you can face it (personally I'd want it finished!!) but the patterns are amazing. Hope the arm (and asthma) ease soon. Helen #2

  3. My goodness, not that is pretty. Whoever says "Blue and Green Should Never Be Seen" is nuts. I had never heard that till we moved over to the UK! I love the combo and Tizzy is really lovely. Plus the funnies - now Dear Son is heading over with his cat, the cat ones strike a chord LOL!
    Happy WOYWW, on time!

  6. Love your tizzy now you are modelling it. Collar or not? If yu will wear it under a coat I would say NOT, if you will wear it without a coat YES to a collar. Just thinking of the bulk.
Hope the arm is not as sore as mine was for as long.
    Hugs, Neet 5 xx

  9. The cardigan looks better every week I see it. A shawl collar might be an idea especially if it starts to get cold. We had our booster the other weekend and I did feel a bit off it for a couple of days. Loving ther funnies. Take care and wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x12x

  11. Beautiful colors you are working with. And will enjoy every stitch once you are finished. Won't be long for that cold to set in We need rain here, corn/beans are dry and dangerous so we are under a no burn warning. Beautiful cats. Bailey's been sleeping a lot so hope he's not getting that old !

  15. It’s a triumph! I love it…am not very good with collars myself, but is there any point having a lovely warm cardi if you have to sling a scarf around your neck? A shawl collar sounds just the job really. I love the way the pieces and colours work; I can see you wearing this a lot!
