WOYWW 697 Sea glass, collars and borders.

For a change this week I’m starting with some sea-glass earrings I’ve adapted. I do like the matte effect of sea glass. Most earrings now get adapted to fit onto my sleepers. These look like little olives to me.

Thanks for all your input last week. Im adding a shawl collar to my Tizzy cardi so I go round and round. It spends most of its time now in a big heap on my lap as I make the collar and borders.

I was late commenting last week as we had a big log delivery.

This is the work in progress. Brian did most of it but I felt it in my legs the next day, too.
Bella and Gracie do like a cuddle:

We’re wondering if this house in our village has been sold to Mexicans, given its topiary

And finally…

Take care and happy WOYWW
Hugs

Love the sea glass a lot, the reflected colour is just fab. That’s a lot of logs, you’ll be toasty warm this winter. Catch up soon,

Oh that wood pile brought back memories of my childhood. A very heavy wheelborrow, 2 little girls loading and trying to push it quite a distance, and unloading throwing it into our basement from a small side window. We did it many times in cold weather too. The furnace was huge in our basement, we used coal and wood to have heat. No way could I do that again at my age !!
I love your sea glass earrings. Thanks for sharing some pretty photos. Have a good week

Great funnies! Those logs look like a lot of work. Will that last the winter? My husband was chopping logs for my sister yesterday, he reaped the harvest of a fallen tree! Take care, Angela #16

Your earrings and cardigan both look fabulous. I can imagine that your legs did hurt moving a pile that big! Great funnies! Happy WOYWW, Chrisx #18
